Pre-Prep II get out & about at Waddesdon
Pre-Prep II enjoyed a sneak peek at Waddesdon’s Christmas decorations.
Children in Pre-Prep II visited Waddesdon Manor to see the Christmas lanterns they had made (see photos below), installed on Miss Alice’s Drive, alongside several others crafted by local schools. The children’s faces lit up with surprise when they saw their own lanterns, decorated with hares and hanging suspended from the moon and star shapes. Each lantern represented an animal and it was exciting spotting the lanterns and guessing the animals!
You can see photos of all the lanterns on Waddesdon's facebook page. The lantern with the most 'likes' wins a trophy so please do 'like' our lantern!
We were privileged to be allowed into the Manor to see the Christmas trees. The children were dazzled and enthralled by the size of them! And each tree was decorated with an animal which the children had to spot. The Manor was full of visitors and many commented on the smartness and lovely manners our children displayed.
Of course a packed lunch was really exciting too and very much enjoyed before having a play in Waddesdon Manor’s excellent play area!
