Our Wellbeing Garden is being put to good use in the sunshine. From English lessons outdoors, to pupils spending time with friends, this special space continues to support learning, reflection and connection across the school. Learning and wellbeing side by side, the Ashfold way.

With the arrival of the Summer Term comes the start of cricket season, and pupils across the school have been back on the pitches and in the nets this week, beginning their training ahead of fixtures.

The highly anticipated Wigan Run and Wigan Wiggle took place under stormy skies this week! Well done to every pupil who took part and kept the Ashfold spirit shining.

Drawing on their knowledge of Greek mythology from their English lessons, Form 5 reimagined these stories as puppet shows today. In Art, they created their puppet heads and in DT they designed and sewed the costumes, bringing each character to life. #WeAreAshfold

Ashfold has been awarded the Wellbeing Award for Schools this week! We are especially proud of the report’s findings, which highlight the clear culture of care, kindness and respect that sits at the heart of Ashfold. A proud moment for our whole community.

Our youngest pupils stepped straight into the world of stories today to celebrate World Book Day.  Pupils arrived dressed as much‑loved characters, proudly sharing their favourite books and talking about the adventures hidden inside their pages.
