Ashfold Ball

Finally, a final date for the Ashfold Ball: 18th Sept 2021!

Like the Olympics, the Euros and our summer holidays, the fate of the Ashfold Ball has ebbed and flowed with the pandemic.  Each time the news cycle improved we tried to set a date, only to be overtaken by events.

It has been a painful time for so many, and the Ball has been the very least of our priorities.  However, the success of the vaccine programme and the government’s route out of restrictions means that, with huge excitement and fingers firmly crossed, we have inked-in the evening of Saturday 18th September 2021 for it to finally take place.

With luck, it will follow many bigger events taking place this summer.  This will help provide clear guidance on everything we need to do to make the evening safe, as well as brilliant fun.  It should be a wonderful celebration on so many levels.

Our sponsors and suppliers have given the new date their full support and are determined to help us raise much-needed funds for local children’s charity PACE and the school.

We really hope you can make it, and your tickets are, of course, valid!  Please contact the ball committee at mayball@ashfoldschool.co.uk if you:

  1. Were unable to attend originally but would like to book for Sept. 2021
  2. Know families joining Ashfold this summer who would like to know more
  3. Are unable to attend or have donated a prize which will be impacted by Covid or the change of date.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support and understanding.  We’ll be in touch with more details next term. In the meantime, we look forward to a happy, healthy spring and summer, capped-off with a Ball to remember for all the right reasons.
