Form V Trip to Normandy

Children in Form V spent a fantastic week in Normandy immersing themselves in French language and culture.

The first two days were spent conducting a variety of activities at Château de la Baudonnière activity centre.  These ranged from bread making to an extremely muddy assault course.  Thursday and Friday saw excursions to see the Bayeux Tapestry, the Bayeux War Cemetery, D-Day beaches, Pegasus Bridge and a typical French market.  The whole trip was extremely good fun and allowed the children to experience a wide variety of new things while improving their French.
