Scholars' Club
Ashfold scholars were given many valuable life lessons from retired Commander Beach Seakins last week.
His presentation ranged from his idyllic childhood in Barbados to his education in Christ’s Hospital School and then an illustrious career in the Navy. Beach told us all about his role in the Gulf War and later as a Naval Attache in the Soviet Union and how he was involved in the helping the UK and Russia become closer friends. He told the Scholars to question things; strive to be better than average; be flexible; make the most of any opportunities and have fun. Great advice for anyone!
