Boarding - Week 8
It was lovely to welcome everyone back after the half term break. We were all straight back into activities and boarding with plenty of laughter and some Twister fun.
The Senior Musical is on the last run of rehearsals. Everyone is getting excited about treading the boards and showcasing their theatrical talents.
Our golfers continue to practise and gain confidence down at the driving range and are looking forward to being able to spend long summer evenings on the golf course.
Wednesday night boarders enjoyed a movie night with duvets and pillows, popcorn and lemonade. Requests have already been made for a comedy movie night for next week. Suggestions always welcome!
Thursday’s activities including robotics, cookery and .22 shooting have all been busy and it’s been fantastic to watch the children enjoying each other’s company in these sessions. Personally, I have to say I very much enjoyed the cheese straws made by children in cookery club, especially the ones coated in marmite!
Thank you to everyone, especially the children for yet another great week in boarding.
