Boarding - Week 13
As we come to the end of another term, I have to say a big thank you to all the children and staff involved in boarding and evening activities. This term has been particularly good and we’ve had a lot of fun.
It’s also that time of year when we sadly say goodbye to our Gap students, Laura, Milly and Keegan. I personally would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the three of them for their hard work and dedication on the Boarding Wing. We wish them the very best for the future.
With one week to go before the Christmas holidays, we are looking forward to the final showdown at bowling on Tuesday evening and wait with eager anticipation for the winner to be announced.
We can however announce the winners of the Christmas Cake competition from last night’s Cookery Club! Congratulations go to:
1st Place – Eleanor M (V) & Grace L(V) - A wonderful snowman topped cake.
2nd Place- Tara D (VI) - A very clever Santa down the chimney cake.
3rd Place – Milly A (IV) - An artistic reindeer cake.
A special commendation goes to Olivia P (V) & Lily S (V) for their snowman and log cabin cake.
All the children made a great effort and it really was a very difficult task judging the cakes.
I would like to wish everyone in our boarding community lots of festive fun in the coming weeks and look forward to seeing you all in 2018.
