Form IV Trip to Sulgrave Manor

Form IV visited Sulgrave Manor to learn more about the Tudors.

In the morning, the children took part in a role play which spanned and involved the entire Tudor Dynasty – several lost their heads!  After lunch and a quick trip to the shop, we peered into a lowly blacksmith’s house and then compared this with the splendour of Mr Washington’s Elizabethan mansion. Our tour of the mansion took in the large kitchen, bed-chamber and the main dining room.

The children asked lots of great questions, learned a huge amount about Tudor life and impressed with their behaviour.
