Form VI Trip to Brecon Beacons

Form VI celebrated the end of Common Entrance exams with an action-packed week in the Brecon Beacons.

During the trip, they learnt more about how to work together in teams and the value of each individual contributing to the team. Many of the children were also able to practise their leadership skills as they were given the chance to lead their teams in challenging conditions.

They also enjoyed mountain biking, canoeing and 2 days of walking which culminated in climbing Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales. Everyone made it up to the peak and we all survived the battering of storm Hector on the final night (although some of the tents did not)!

Overall, it was a fantastic week and I am sure that all the children were able to learn something about themselves as well as having fun after their exams.
