Scholars' Club

Mr David Diprose kindly returned to Ashfold to put the Scholars' Club through their mathematical paces.

This latest session centred on understanding problems and focussed on geometry. Mr Diprose gently guided the children into finding ways of approaching scholarship Maths problems that they considered very difficult. He showed them that, with some thought or perhaps looking at the problems in a slightly different way, they weren’t so hard after all. He also introduced us all to Thales of Miletus and his theorum too!
