Peter Pan
The cast and crew of this year’s Senior Musical pulled off an exuberant production of Peter Pan in some style.
There were terrific musical numbers and plenty of delightful comedy moments as the eccentric Darling family flew to Neverland with Peter Pan, amid fairies and mermaids, to join the Lost Boys. There, they enjoyed daring adventures before being captured by the dastardly pirate, Captain Hook, who lives in fear of the crocodile with the ticking clock in its belly. It is down to Peter Pan to rescue his friends and settle things once and for all with Captain Hook!
With so much dramatic talent in the Senior Department, the principal roles were shared between two casts, with two performances on consecutive nights. From Tinker Bell to Tiger Lily, the whole cast sang with gusto and mastered some very impressive choreography. Behind the scenes, costumes and make-up were, as always, superbly organised and the stage management and technical team ensured that the production ran smoothly.
A delightfully spirited production. Bravo!
