Boarding - Week 12

It’s been a wonderful term for boarding and evening activities with children learning lots of new skills and enjoying plenty of laughs and giggles!

The Senior Musical, a fantastic production of Peter Pan, was a resounding success. Our young golfers have hit distances of more than 135 metres and .22 shooters have shot very impressive scores. In Photography Club, the children have created beautiful works of art as well as news articles and documentary pieces. The sociable setting that is Warhammer/Model club has produced some incredibly intricate models while Cookery Club have whipped up delicious treats each week, including cheese straws, ginger bread men, shortbread, pizza and cupcakes.

Mr Frise certainly slept well on Wednesday evenings after running around in Game Night – Murder in the Mansion being the firm favourite. Robotics continued to enhance the intellectual abilities of their robotic friends while Ancient Greek studied antiquity in earnest.

Boarders have spent their evenings playing FIFA, table football, Pool, Twister, Apple Pie, Hide and Seek and Karaoke. They have pampered themselves with face masks (yes, even the boys!) and had movie nights with popcorn.

It’s been a really fun term and I would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter. I do hope you all have a lovely break and look forward to seeing everyone well-rested and ready for the Summer Term.
