Trip to Horse of the Year Show

Ashfold's Equestrian Team, including children from Transition to Form V, enjoyed a trip to Horse of the Year Show.

We saw the Junior Foxhunter Championship, the Hurry Scurry and Mounted Games as well as having a backstage pass to visit the stables and meet the horses.  Highlights were meeting ‘Fruit and Nut’, the Hurry Scurry ponies who we later watched racing in the main arena and seeing Oakley Hunt West win the Mounted Games.

The children also enjoyed the ice cream and the shopping village, buying an assortment of treats for their ponies!
