Waddesdon Manor enlists Pre-Prep II
Children in Pre-Prep II are thrilled to have been invited to take part in Waddesdon Manor’s Christmas Display.
The ladies from the Waddesdon Education Team visited Ashfold with strips of willow which were carefully measured and shaped by the children into a star shape. The star will become a lantern which will hang in the grounds of the Manor alongside lanterns made by other local school children, for many thousands of visitors to view over the Christmas season.
There is also a competition with the best decorated lantern winning a prize. The theme is Animals and Ashfold have been asked to create a hare. Visitors can go along and vote for their favourite lantern.
We are looking forward to using our imagination in the interpretation of the theme and then we hope to go along and see the display!
