Form I Famous Five Picnic

It was a lovely day, bright and breezy, as the Form I walked down to the Walled Garden for their Famous Five Picnic.

This annual event celebrates the novels of Enid Blyton which the children have been listening to in their English lessons this term. They dressed as their favourite character - Julian, Dick, George and Anne, as well as Timmy the Dog - and played traditional games before eating a special lunch which included jam, cucumber, cheese and ham sandwiches, followed by Victoria Sandwich cake and  ‘lashings of ginger beer!’
