Lauren wins Gold at 500 Words!

Huge congratulations to Lauren Cook in Form II who has become the Gold winner in the 5 -9 age category at BBC Radio 2’s 500 Words short story writing competition.

Lauren’s wonderful story, The Kindest of Strangers, was read by the Emmy and BAFTA-winning actress, Jenny Agutter at a star-studded grand final at the Tower of London.

500 words is now one of the most successful story-writing competitions for children in the world which makes Lauren’s achievement all more sensational.
