Boarding News - Week 2

The Ashfold Boarding Family is well and truly up and running this term following the long summer holidays.

During the break, the girls’ dorms have had a soft furnishings makeover to make them more homely and inviting. Further improvements are planned in the very near future and we are seeking out various replacement items for the Common Rooms. Watch this space!

There are so many Evening Activities for the boarders to enjoy. This term we have .22 Shooting, Girls' Club, Sport Hall Olympics, Indoor Games, Art Club, and Game Programming to name but a few (phew)! They are all popular especially when topped off by Crusha and toast or tuck at the end of a very long day.

Following our move back from Germany in the summer, my family and I are already fully engaged in all aspects of Boarding at Ashfold and are very much enjoying spending time with the children. Missy, our Chocolate Labrador is having a ball and can’t get enough of the hugs and kisses. The children have asked if Missy can sleep in their Bedders but I’m afraid her snoring would cause even the most dedicated sleeper to suffer from insomnia!!!

Boarding at Ashfold School is an amazing experience, with memories made for life. Exciting times ahead for all!
