A Logo for a Landmark Year

The winning design for Ashfold’s Centenary Logo has been revealed, marking an exciting milestone as we begin the countdown to our 100th anniversary in 2027.

Over the summer, pupils were invited to take part in a special competition to create a logo that would help shape our Centenary celebrations. They were challenged to capture the spirit of Ashfold and the response was fantastic, with a host of imaginative and creative entries submitted from across the School. The high standard of work made the judging process a particularly difficult task.

After careful consideration, Holly W's entry was selected as the winning design. Her concept stood out for its bold and effective style and its ability to reflect the significance of this landmark moment in Ashfold’s history. Holly’s winning entry then formed the inspiration for the official Centenary logo, with the design team at Stowe developing and refining the concept into the final version that will represent Ashfold throughout its Centenary year.

The finished logo will feature across a wide range of Centenary communications, events, publications and merchandise as we celebrate 100 years of Ashfold. It will become a familiar symbol of a year that will honour our past, celebrate our present and look ahead to the future of the School.

A huge congratulations to Holly, and a heartfelt thank you to every pupil who entered. The competition showcased an impressive wealth of creativity, thought and talent, and we are incredibly proud of everyone who took part.

With the Centenary logo now unveiled, preparations for this very special anniversary are truly underway, and we look forward to sharing more exciting plans with the Ashfold community in the months ahead.
