The Post
We are seeking to appoint a Sports Coach with a hockey specialism for January 2025 (with a possible start date of September 2024 for the right candidate) to join our dynamic Sports Department. Primarily coaching Hockey, you will be required to assist in the delivery of a first-class coaching education where pupils learn and develop sporting skills in a variety of disciplines.
The successful candidate should be a positive sporting role model for our students both on and off the pitch, be able to work as part of a team, have good communication skills and be able to develop good relations with staff, pupils and the wider school community.

The School
Ashfold is an established co-educational Preparatory School for around 300 children aged 3 - 13 set in a beautiful Jacobean mansion with its own thirty-acre estate in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside just twenty minutes from Oxford, Thame and Aylesbury.
The school has expanded significantly over the last fifteen years and invested heavily in its infrastructure and support systems. We aim to give every child the firmest possible grounding in the core academic subjects, within a small caring family community where children both know each other and all of the staff.
