The Post

We are looking to appoint a Head of Computing at Ashfold School for September 2024. The successful candidate will be genuinely passionate about their subject and be able to inspire and instil a love of Computing in the children through their teaching.  

An experienced Computing teacher, they will naturally possess outstanding technical, teaching and communication skills. The post holder will become part of the wider dynamic teaching team and will display their passion to foster and promote an enthusiasm for a love of learning and creativity amongst children at the school.

The School

Ashfold is a leading independent prep school for approximately 300 boys and girls aged 3-13 years. The School is set in a beautiful Jacobean mansion with its own thirty acre estate on the edge of the village of Dorton in the Buckinghamshire countryside, close to Thame, Oxford, Bicester and Aylesbury. 

Alongside an excellent all-round education, we pride ourselves in offering children a wealth of opportunities to participate in sports, the arts, drama and music as well as a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. The school week runs from Monday – Friday and we offer optional boarding up to four nights a week, as well as a rich and varied extra-curricular programme.

Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview shortly after the closing date; however, we reserve the right to interview sooner for early applications that meet the selection criteria.
