The Post

Feeling like you’re stuck in a rut? Bored of the same old daily routine? Then look no further, Ashfold School may be the place for you. We are looking to appoint a Cleaner for September 2020, or as soon as possible thereafter, to join our lively domestic team and assist in delivering a high-quality cleaning service to meet the needs of our vibrant, happy school. The role will include undertaking routine domestic/cleaning activities and if you like what you hear so far, don your marigolds, pick up your mop, bucket and feather duster and come and join our community.

All we ask, in addition to you being a dedicated and approachable person, is that you have basic numeracy and literacy skills and ideally have experience in domestic/housekeeping duties. You should be able to work as part of a team, have good communication skills and be able to develop good relations with staff, pupils and the wider school community. So, if you have a happy disposition, take pride in your work and enjoy being an integral part of something bigger than yourself, then look no further - the Ashfold School family may just be what you are looking for.

The School

Ashfold is an established co-educational Preparatory School for around 280 children aged 3 - 13+ set in a beautiful Jacobean mansion with its own thirty-acre estate in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside just twenty minutes from Oxford, Thame and Aylesbury.

The school has expanded significantly over the last fifteen years and invested heavily in its infrastructure and support systems. We aim to give every child the firmest possible grounding in the core academic subjects, within a small caring family community where children both know each other and all of the staff.
