Do you want to be part of a dynamic team that aims to deliver an exciting and creative art curriculum to pupils? If you do, Ashfold School in Dorton village may be the place for your new employment venture. We are looking to appoint an Art Assistant for October 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter, to join our vibrant art department.

Assisting the Head of Department, the successful candidate will have a natural flair for Art and ideally possess a Foundation/HND in Art and/or Fashion. Caring, imaginative and enthusiastic about Art, they will be able to inspire and support our pupils in the development of their individual artistic and creative talents. Friendly, approachable and possessing effective communication skills, they will also be able to foster good relations with staff, pupils and the wider school community.

The School

Ashfold is an established co-educational Preparatory School for around 280 children aged 3 - 13+ set in a beautiful Jacobean mansion with its own thirty acre estate in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside just twenty minutes from Oxford, Thame and Aylesbury.

The school has expanded significantly over the last fifteen years and invested heavily in its infrastructure and support systems. We aim to give every child the firmest possible grounding in the core academic subjects, within a small caring family community where children both know each other and all of the staff.
