Elync
Do your school communications arrive on time every time?Elync is designed by parents for parents. Elync understands the difficulties of organising children in their school and exra-curricular activities and have created a secure system in association with Ashfold that allows us to use technology to reduce the administration costs of communicating.
From a parent's perspective you can be sure that you get information about your child and school on time every time.
For example, Ashfold wishes to run a foreign ski trip. Ordinarily the process would involve the school office printing a letter with a tear off strip detailing the trip and requesting a deposit and the return of a permission slip.
Using Elync the office creates the event on our web forms, requests special information (dietary needs for example), selects the class and hits the invite button. The parents then receive an email with a link to the web page that was created by Elync where they can electronically complete any information, accept the invitation and (if appropriate), make any necessary credit card payments.
Parents can ask Elync to remind them, for example, 24 hours before an event via either email or SMS. No more scrumpled letters fished out days late by your child from the bottom of the book bag.
The principle is very simple. Ashfold has joined Elync and is able to email news, letters, invitations to events and questionnaires.
As a parent you are able to respond via the web site and give permission, make payment, complete questionnaires etc.
