Dorton House Restoration
A condition survey was carried out in August 2002 recommending steps to be taken for the restoration of Dorton House.  One of the immediate action points was to rewire the House and this was completed between August 2004 and August 2006.

The other points for immediate action, not yet started, starting with the South Wing and continuing through the North Wing, are:

* Renewing all lead roof gutters, flashings, soakers, aprons to all roofs and replace missing tiles
* Comprehensive repair programme to windows and lintels
* Repair/replace stone mullions
* Repair/renew North Terrace as a Health & Safety item
* Repoint brickwork and stonework
