Colts B v Beachborough
Beachborough took the lead just before the first half whistle quite against the run of play. An own goal early in the second half didn’t help our cause. We got back into the match thanks to a lovely chipped free kick by captain Ben Munday. Unfortunately, a classy Beachborough move ended in a third goal for them, slipped neatly through James Olliver’s legs. A fourth soon followed. And although Ben struck again to make the final score 4 – 2, Beachborough left the field deserved winners. Result: Ashfold 2 Beachborough 4

Colts D v Beachborough
This match showed that with honest endeavour and hard grit, you can win out in the end. I have nothing but praise for all the team who stuck at their respective tasks for the whole 30 minutes. Solid defending from Ed Elgin; non-stop running from Jack Clifford and Will Senior all helped the attackers, Freddie Woods and goal hero Andrew White, whose cheeky tuck in sealed our glorious victory. Well done all of the D team!  Result: Ashfold 1 Beachborough 0
